Mary Bottomley: Lockdown poem

Lockdown for coronavirus has been a challenge for everyone, no matter what their personal circumstances.  Here, Mary reflects in poetry what lockdown has meant for her.

Lockdown 

L stands for lonely even though I am married 

O stands for feeling like a outcast and not fitting in

C stands for care my beautiful husband lee gives

K stands for the kindness my brilliant husband shows

D stands for the depression I have been feeling 

O stands for me being off handed more than normal 

W stands for me whinging more than usual

N stands for how nice my fantastic husband lee is

This is been my lockdown
