Connected Worlds is one of the community enterprises supported by Sheffield Flourish.
Informed by storytelling techniques used in Storying Sheffield, Connected Worlds run art-based courses to connect people and provide a creative space for them to tell and transform their stories of everyday life.
The project helps build meaningful connections, solidarity, and a sense of community for people from different backgrounds. Connected Worlds have run three sets of courses over the last five years: Rotherham Flourish, Connected Worlds Sheffield, and The Way We Flourish.
“This course has helped me to express through poetry a positivity and resilience in the face of difficulty, and for that I am truly grateful.” Connected Worlds attendee
Fern Deffley also wrote a story about her experiences of the Rotherham Flourish course, and Juliet McDonald wrote a story called Why I Love Rotherham Flourish.
