Rotherham Flourish is a 10 week creative course which runs twice a year at Mowbray Gardens library in Rotherham.
We use different art-based activities such as storytelling and poetry to help people with different kinds of mental health difficulties to express their thoughts in a creative and supportive space. At the end of each course, the works of participants are displayed in an exhibition and published on Sheffield Flourish website.
This collaborative project between Sheffield Flourish (Shirin Teifouri) and Mowbray Gardens Library has been funded by Rotherham City Council, Esh Communities, Lotto Awards for All, Rotherham Voluntary Action, and NHS England.
