We’re looking for creative people with an eye for detail who can help us shape, edit and maintain our brand new digital platform.
As a member of our hand-picked Editing Panel you will play a key role in what’s produced for the site, and how it’s presented. You will be an experienced content producer who knows how to make the most of a headline, and who’s confident in crafting other people’s work.
As part of our core team of volunteers, our Editing Panel meet once a month to steer content development, review the site, and bring new ideas. The Panel is also responsible for moderating at least two stories a month, submitted by our network of contributors. This may involve getting in touch with the writers to discuss changes, so we are looking for people who are kind and patient.
Our Editing Panellists must have: a good understanding of spelling and grammar – knowledge of what makes creative content engaging – communication skills – commitment to our culture – digital skills – experience of a mental health condition or an interest in mental health and wellbeing.
