Mollie Speight: Bridge

This lovely poem and drawing is by Mollie who is currently attending Rotherham Flourish course. This is Mollie’s first attempt to write a poem.

drawing of girl walking over a bridge

The busy forests and hectic cities echo from behind
Though my silence and fortitude allow me to unwind
For if I think of my dreams and desires
I can free myself from expectations wires
I know, when I look down from my mountains ridge
I can focus on crossing each little bridge.
