Qigong

Qigong means ‘energy work’ or ‘breath work’ and originated in China over 5000 years ago. It is a low impact, accessible and gentle form of mind-body exercise, which can be practised standing or seated.

Research in Tai chi and Qigong shows benefits for people living with long term conditions (e.g. Parkinson’s, heart conditions and fibromyalgia), better overall wellbeing, reduced anxiety, and improved balance.

Gigong sessions happen Every second Wednesday of the month 4.15-5.15pm here at Sheffield Flourish.

No need to book, just turn up at the start or at 4pm if you have not been before.
