(Part Time: at least 22.5 hours) Salary £36,000 to £42,000 Pro Rata
We are looking for a new Managing Director with great leadership skills, creativity and a determination to work in partnership to build a better future for people living with mental health conditions in Sheffield.
Award winning Sheffield Flourish has come a long way in five years. Over 11,000 people have visited our digital wellbeing hub since its launch in 2017. We have around 60 volunteers and support a diverse range of grassroots community activities from digital inclusion to arts and gardening. Sheffield Flourish is dedicated to supporting people with mental health conditions to build the lives they wish through solidarity and the exchange of skills, knowledge and friendship.
We need a Managing Director with strong and proven leadership skills, who thrives on building trust, understanding and shared purpose, who understands strength based working, and who has personal and/or professional experience and knowledge of mental health difficulties and their social contexts. Personal experience of mental ill-health will be considered an asset for this role.
Our MD will have overall responsibility for implementation of strategy, and operational management of Sheffield Flourish. This includes working closely with the Board of Directors, the management of the staff team and working in partnership with a diverse range of people and organisations. It will also involve ensuring there are robust financial, HR, volunteer, marketing and monitoring and evaluation systems in place and securing the resources required to deliver the ambitious plans of the organisation.
The Managing Director will ensure that the organisation has a culture of respect, trust, inclusion and purposeful kindness and that these values are upheld throughout all our activities.
