Free PDF listing festive food, warm spaces and support across Sheffield
We pulled together information to create a free, downloadable PDF to help our members and the wider Sheffield community find support over the Christmas and New Year period.
The guide brings together information about places offering meals, food support and warm, welcoming spaces both before and after Christmas, helping people plan ahead during a time when routines and services can change.
It also includes important details for mental health support services, recognising that the festive period can be especially difficult for some, and that many services operate reduced hours or close over the holidays. The aim is to make it easier to know where to turn for help, or how to support a friend or family member who may be struggling.
The PDF is free to download directly to your device and includes contact numbers and clickable links to help access support if/when needed.
Our own building will be closed over Christmas from 24th December and opening again on Wednesday 7th January. The Sheffield Mental Health line and email will still be open providing signposting to services and support.
We wanted to share about other places that are open so that no one has to feel alone or unsure about where to find food, warmth or support over the festive season.
