We’re looking for digital advocates who will use their talents and insight to help Sheffield people get online, and showcase our brand new digital platform.
As a Digital Ambassador you will support people to go online and use Sheffield Flourish and related digital resources. You will help them connect with others and access the resources they need to build the lives they wish to lead.
This includes going out into the community and could consist of one-to-one coaching, working with small groups or co-delivering workshops. You will be an ambassador for Sheffield Flourish in your local community.
We want to reach people who are not tech-savvy and may not have any experience of using computers, so your role may involve teaching and mentoring in computer literacy.
Our Digital Ambassadors must have:
Good computer and internet skills – communication skills – commitment to our culture – experience of a mental health condition or an interest in mental health and well being – confidence in speaking to other people.
