'I wish' - Poem

Jessica Wardley creatively explores her feelings in this short poem.

Close up grass

‘I sit outside this church at night
My mind goes to and thro
I wonder how I’d gain a spot
For sun, wind, rain and snow.

I’d sit and stare in wonder
At glass windows all around
Then lay down with the worms and grass
So happy in the ground.’
