Recap on Season 2022/23

The season started 1st October 2022 with 15 teams in total of 8 new teams joined us from all around the Sheffield & Hallamshire county. Aston Swallownest Inclusion, De La Salle, Fit4U Rotherham, Man V Fat Doncaster, Man V Fat Sheffield, Rotherham United Community Trust, Sands United South Yorkshire & Sheffield 7 Hills AFC. We sadly lost 2 teams City Knights who unfortunately were voted out at the AGM and Hillsborough R v B who needed to take a break to regroup. Club Doncaster Titans A & B teams merged to make one team.
We had 15 teams affiliated, doubled our divisions to 4 and an amazing 498 players registered for those teams!
44 League matches took place with an additional 6 Preliminary Cup matches, 4 Quarter Finals for the Sheffield Flourish Cup, 4 Quarter Final for the Sheffield Flourish Super Cup, 2 Semi-Final for the Sheffield Flourish Cup, 2 Semi-Final for the Sheffield Flourish Super, 1 Sheffield Flourish Cup Final match and 1 Sheffield Flourish Super Cup Final match totalling 64 matches played. This is 30 more matches played this season than last season.
